Everyone have a fun and safe Independence day.

This guy here will be leaving Qatar to start his journey back home on the 4th.

Deployment is sure different than it must have used to be. From all the way across the world we were able to facetime every couple days and keep in touch. We counted the other day and he thinks he has logged 22 different Countries on this deployment.

Has hauled everything from injured troops to highway cables to stuff he couldn't talk about.

Good thing is after hops to Italy, Nova Scotia and Rhode Island he will be arriving back at the base and we will greet him there Tuesday about 12:30.

While you are eating your barbecue and the fixins, drinking your favorite drink, blowing your fingertips off and spending time with your family Saturday don't forget to think about all the men and women serving our Country who don't have the luxury of being with their families. Luckily we will see ours soon enough but others aren't so lucky.

And....during the 2 hour out processing time we will have to wait after we see him for a few minutes we will be busy in the recruiting office. The second son talked to us last night and said he had been talking to Logan lately and thinks it would be a good thing for him to do both for education and personal growth. Very proud of both of them!
